Based within Citizens Advice, Hull & East Riding’s Generalist Advice Service the post holder will deliver generalist advice services at our Bridlington and Beverley offices as well as one afternoon at the Bridlington branch of Yorkshire Building society. Yorkshire Building Society have funded CAHER to deliver generalist advice to people living in the East Riding of Yorkshire one day a week from their Bridlington branch.
Unless applying for a traineeship, the post holder should have knowledge of the current law and policy in relation to welfare rights and money advice and at least 1-year experience of providing legal advice on a wide range of issues to members of the public.
You will have the ability to work both independently with minimum supervision, and as part of a team and to be confident using a wide range of IT systems. IT Equipment will be provided.
Traineeship

We will be looking for the ability to meet the person specification and deliver the job to the required standards within 6 months. Full training will be offered.

Please note the post holder will be required to complete a basic DBS Check to work at the Yorkshire Building Society.
