As a Neighbourhood Network Apprentice, you will be a keen team player supporting with a variety of exciting projects. This role requires strong customer service skills; often being the first point of contact for the charity.
Neighbourhood Network are pleased to be offering the opportunity for a new apprenticeship, adding value to their small team. The apprenticeship post will be based at the Neighbourhood Network’s Community Centre 87 Goodhart Road, Bransholme, however there will be opportunities to go out and about with the team to various events and meetings across the city.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome customers into the community centre
- Liaise with customers and support their needs whilst using the centre
- Help set up rooms for meetings and events
- Answer telephone calls into the community centre
- Reply and action emails within a timely manner
- Reply to enquiries over social media
- Contribute to the charity’s social media accounts across all projects
- Support the Team at engagement events
- Business support to the team and management team
- Contribute to newsletters across all projects
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Great communication skills
- Knowledge of the services and activities across all Neighbourhood Network projects
- Understands basic Microsoft packages
- Has a positive and ‘can do’ mind set
- Ability to work on your own effectively
- Confident at dealing with the public in person and on the telephone

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER
Neighbourhood Network is a local Hull charity that supports communities to strive for safer and healthier places to live and work. The charity has many projects some of which include Neighbourhood Watch, ‘Lock it or lose it’ cycle crime project, ‘Safer You’ project, Menopaus’ull Support Network.
The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 in Multi-Channel Marketer with the appointed provider HBTC.
