👥 Who We Are
We are a Hull-based registered charity focused on empowering residents and community organisations to create safer, healthier places to live and work. Through strong partnerships and grassroots support, we’re building a future where every community feels informed, equipped, and connected.
🔍 The Role of a Trustee
As a Trustee, you’ll provide strategic leadership, ensure good governance, and help steer our charity in delivering long-term impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shaping strategy and direction in line with our mission
- Overseeing compliance, finance, and operational performance
- Contributing to strategic planning and resource management
- Attending regular Board meetings and committee sessions
💡 What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who are:
- Passionate about community safety and wellbeing
- Strategic thinkers with strong communication skills
- Experienced in fundraising, outreach, or charity governance
- Willing to dedicate 5–10 hours per month
We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with a background in finance or accounting for our Treasury Trustee position.
