We are currently looking for a Relevant Person’s Paid Representative to join our vibrant and dedicated team based in the East Midlands!

As a Relevant Person’s Paid Representative, you will support a diverse range of vulnerable adults, frequently with profound and multiple needs. You will leverage your experience to provide persuasive verbal and written representations, working independently and with professional discretion. You will handle sensitive information responsibly, travel regularly to visit beneficiaries, and ensure their voices are heard and their rights upheld. Although your main base will be from home you will ideally be located in Leicestershire, with regular travel to visit beneficiaries across the East Midlands area including Nottinghamshire and Cambridgeshire.

Hours of Work:  37 hours per week – working between Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm – working pattern to be mutually agreed.  Part time applications would be welcome – please state preference of working hours on your covering letter.

Location: Home Based with travel around Scunthorpe and the surrounding area. (Applicants must live within the area; have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport)

Relevant Person’s Paid Representative Requirements:

·        Proven experience working with vulnerable adults, experience within a health and social care setting would be an advantage.

·        Understanding of Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty would be useful.

·        Excellent communication and time management skills.

·        Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills would be beneficial.

·        Experience in handling highly sensitive information securely.

·        Full driver’s licence and access to your own transport.

Benefits:

·        Competitive salary starting at £23,088.00 per annum, dependent on experience.

·        25 days annual leave (pro-rata for part-time).
