Accountancy and Payroll
Whether you are a new group or a well established charity, we can help with the following –
Annual Accounts Preparation – We can prepare your annual accounts in a way that complies with required legislation.
Independent Examination of Accounts – We can act as Independent Examiners for your charity or charitable company. If you are a charitable organisation with an income under £1,000,000 you are likely to be eligible to have an Independent Examination rather than a full statutory audit.
Internal Audits - We can carry out your internal audits in a way that complies with required legislation.
Training – As well as running group training sessions we also offer one-to-one training and support tailored to your group.
General financial advice – We are available via e-mail or telephone to answer any finance related queries that you may have – no query is too small. If we don’t know the answer we will either find out or sign-post you to someone who does.
Financial Health Check of your organisation – We can give an in-depth review of all of your financial systems and report back to you on the strengths and weaknesses of your group. We will also suggest ways that you can improve the systems and give support as required to enable you to do this.
Management Accounts - We can prepare your management accounts in a way that complies with required legislation.
Payroll service – We offer a comprehensive payroll facility that is efficient, easy to use and is a cost effective solution to the payroll needs of charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and individuals in receipt of Direct Payments. We also now offer managed accounts for individuals in receipt of Direct Payments.
Bookkeeping services – We offer a bookkeeping service in which we either come to your organisation as required to maintain your accounts or you send us the information – this can be as a one off or on a regular basis.
Good Practice Guides – On our website we also have a set of good practice guides available free of charge which cover many aspects of running your organisation. These are available to download from our website.

Budget Preparation and or Cash Flow Preparation – Do you need to prepare a budget or cash flow statement for your entire organisation or for a particular funding bid and not sure where to start. We can give you advice and support on this.
Consultancy – We can provide consultancy services to your organisation on an ad hoc or longer term basis. This can even include supporting/managing your own finance employees.
Cloud Computerised Accounting – We have developed a partnership with Quickbooks Online – this allows us to supply Quickbooks Accounting software at a discounted price.
