The Allen Lane Foundation is offering funding for small charities and voluntary organisations supporting some of the most marginalised communities across the UK.
Grants of up to £15,000 are available (most awards are between £5,000–£6,000), and funding can be used flexibly to support core costs, staffing, or project delivery.
🔑 Key points:
- The fund is open to small organisations with an income under £100,000 for local groups or £250,000 for national organisations.
- It focuses on supporting marginalised groups, including people experiencing mental health issues, isolation, discrimination, or disadvantage.
- Funding can be used for core costs and ongoing work, not just new or time-limited projects.
- There is a strong interest in supporting small, grassroots and under-the-radar projects.
📅 Deadlines:
All applications received now, until early April 2026 are likely to be considered in the lead up to the following Trustee meeting in June 2026.
