The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is offering grants to charities across England and Wales working to support disadvantaged children, young people and vulnerable communities.
Funding is available through two main programmes, supporting both small and larger organisations delivering impactful work.
🔑 Key points:
- Small grants of £1,000–£5,000 per year (for up to three years), available for charities with income between £25,000 and £500,000
- Large grants typically range from £10,000–£60,000 over one to three years for charities with income up to £5 million
- Small grants are unrestricted, while large grants are for specific projects
- Funding focuses on key areas including early years, SEND, and domestic abuse (with dementia currently paused)
- Applicants must be registered charities with at least one year of published accounts
📅 Deadlines:
Applications are open on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadlines.
⚠️ Important to note:
- Only charities in England and Wales are eligible
- The fund does not support CICs or social enterprises
- There is a two-stage process, starting with an expression of interest
