Age UK – Unhidden Face Of Domestic Abuse Event

A conference event, The Unhidden Face of Domestic Abuse in Older People, will take place on Tuesday 21st October at the Legends Lounge, Hull KR, Craven Park, Hull.

This event builds on the previous Hidden Face of Domestic Abuse conference and offers an opportunity to raise awareness, share insights, and strengthen support for older people affected by domestic abuse.

Date: Tuesday 21^st October

Time: Arrivals from 09:00. Event runs 09:30–12:30, followed by networking and information stalls.

Location: Legends Lounge, Hull KR, Craven Park, Hull (2nd floor)

Refreshments: Tea and coffee provided

What to expect;

• Exploration of how domestic abuse manifests in older people
• Expert perspectives on prevention, detection, barriers, and support
• Real stories (where appropriate) to deepen understanding
• Guidance for individuals, communities, and professionals
• Speakers from local organisations will share their knowledge and experience, with further opportunities to network and visit information stalls.
