IWF Warns of Rising AI Generated Child Sexual Abuse Material

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has reported a sharp increase in AI‑generated child sexual abuse material, raising serious safeguarding concerns. In 2025, the IWF identified 3,440 AI‑created abuse videos, compared with just 13 in 2024.

65% were classified as Category A, the most severe level under UK law.

The IWF is urging the government to accelerate plans to ban AI tools that can ‘nudify’ or digitally remove clothing from images.

New Report: Homelessness and Neurodivergent Children

King’s College London’s Sensory Lives project has published a report on the experiences of neurodivergent children living in temporary accommodation. Insights from parents and practitioners highlight chronic sensory distress, instability and unsafe living environments, all of which have serious impacts on children’s mental and physical health.
The report calls for:
• Stronger legal protections for children’s rights in housing decisions
• Mandatory neurodiversity training for housing officers
• Better quality and suitability of temporary accommodation
• An end to the use of hotels and B&Bs for families
