Young wheelchair users across the UK are being encouraged to share their ideas and help make their communities more inclusive, thanks to a new opportunity from the charity Whizz Kidz.
Through its Community Change Projects programme, young wheelchair users can apply for grants of up to £2,500 to bring their ideas to life. The funding is designed to support projects that bring people together locally, improve accessibility, and help create more inclusive communities.
The initiative aims to empower young people to lead positive change in their areas, turning their experiences and ideas into practical projects that make a real difference for others.
Projects could include community events, awareness campaigns, accessibility improvements, or initiatives that encourage greater participation for disabled people in local activities.
Young wheelchair users with a passion for improving inclusion are encouraged to find out more and apply.
