Please see information below that has been shared on behalf of the East Riding Community Safety Partnership:
In this training workshop session, facilitators from Resilience in Unity will work with participants to highlight how best to safeguard individuals with neurodiverse needs and autism spectrum disorders from the risks of radicalisation.
This interactive workshop will feature lived experience from neurodiverse former extremists and experts who have been working in the field of prevention and deradicalisation at a national level, with decades of experience between them.
Through case studies, discussion, and actionable strategies, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the unique vulnerabilities within neurodiverse communities and learn effective approaches to early intervention and support.
