New Dates added for Safeguarding Adults, Children and Young People in the East Riding Training

We’ve added new dates for our popular online training: Safeguarding Adults, Children and Young People in the East Riding.

Community VISION offers support to Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations working with children, young people and adults, to help ensure you can meet your safeguarding responsibilities and keep people safe.

What the training covers

This online session will help you to:

  • Understand what safeguarding is and why it’s important

  • Recognise harm and abuse, and how it can affect us and others around us

  • Learn how to adopt safer recruitment and build safer cultures within your setting

  • Explore what to do if you have a safeguarding concern (including next steps and reporting)

Who is it for?

This training is ideal for VCSE staff, volunteers, trustees, and community leaders who want to strengthen their safeguarding knowledge and confidence.
