Vacancy in the SAB team

The Safeguarding Adults Board are currently recruiting for an Assurance Officer.

With colleagues in the team, the Assurance Officer will play a key role in supporting the scrutiny and assurance function, strengthening the partnership focus on learning and improvement which will contribute to enhancing and supporting frontline multi-agency practice.

Forensic Learning in Safeguarding Adults at Risk of Harm.

The ICB are facilitating a series of online lunch and learn events which focusses on forensic medicals on adults at risk of harm who may have suffered a non-accidental injury.

Dates Available:

  • 20 January 2026, 12:00 to 12:45pm – Support for older survivors of sexual violence – ‘professionals’ perspectives

The training is aimed at any professional working within the adult safeguarding arena.

Aims of the sessions are to:

  • enable an assessment of clinical and service demand to be made
  • determine the workforce requirements
  • development of policy and guidance that may be utilised nationally
  • provide an evaluation upon which to develop a proposal for the development of the service at scale
