Are you passionate about the environment, climate change, or making a difference in your community?
The Regional Youth Climate Assembly (RYCA) and East Riding Youth Council are inviting young people aged 11 and over to attend the East Riding Schools’ Summit on Thursday 9 July 2026 at Memorial Hall.
This exciting and interactive event will give young people the chance to meet environmental experts, learn about climate-related careers, and take part in hands-on workshops exploring real-world environmental issues.
During the day, participants will:
- Meet and chat with professionals working in climate and environmental roles.
- Learn about the different ways people are tackling climate challenges.
- Take part in practical activities and workshops.
- Develop ideas for climate action projects that can make a difference in their schools and communities.
The event runs from 10:00am until 2:30pm and includes networking opportunities, interactive sessions and time to create an action plan for future climate initiatives.
Whether you’re already involved in environmental projects or simply curious about how you can help protect the planet, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect and get inspired.
