
With costumes, pumpkins and spooky fun just around the corner, here are some top tips to help make sure the only thing scary this Halloween is your costume – not your safety!
✅ Check costumes before buying – some materials can be highly flammable. Look for flame-resistant labels🔥
✅Wear some bright or reflective clothing – dark costumes can make it hard for drivers to see you🦺
✅Be extra careful on the roads – expect more children and families out and about🚗
✅Use battery-operated candles – they’re a safer alternative to real flames in pumpkins and decorations🕯️
✅Be respectful when trick-or-treating – not everyone enjoys Halloween. Only visit homes with Halloween decorations and respect those who’d rather not take part 🏠
