Have you got a project idea to help fight loan sharks in your area?

Is it Innovative ~ Engaging ~ Effective ~ Enduring ~ Value for Money?

We have £4,000 available to fund initiatives that raise awareness about the dangers of illegal lending in the North Yorkshire, Kirklees, East Riding, Humberside, north Lincolnshire and West Yorkshire areas.

Stop Loan Sharks (the England Illegal Money Lending Team) has a pot of funding available this year for community organisations to help in the fight against loan sharks.

The money has been seized from convicted loan sharks, and we want to see it used to help protect people from illegal lenders in the future.

This funding could make a real difference in your community. If your project meets our five key criteria, then we want you to apply.

What makes your project different?

2. Engaging

Who will this project reach and how many people will be involved? Will you help get the Stop Loan Sharks message to a new audience?

3. Effective

What impact will your project have? How will it affect and influence people and how will it change their actions and understanding?

4. Enduring

What will be the legacy of your project and how is it sustainable?

5. Value for Money

How does this project represent value for money?
