Better Futures Fund Seeks Learning and Development Partner

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is inviting applications from organisations and consortia to deliver a new Learning and Development Programme as part of the Better Futures Fund (BFF).

With up to £2.6 million in grant funding available, the successful organisation will provide training, guidance and support to help voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, commissioners and partners develop and deliver Social Outcomes Partnerships (SOPs) across England. The programme will run from October 2026 to March 2031.

The initiative aims to build confidence and capability by providing practical resources, sharing evidence and good practice, and creating opportunities for organisations to learn from one another. It forms part of the government’s wider Better Futures Fund, which seeks to tackle complex social challenges through innovative, outcomes-based approaches.

Applications are open to eligible organisations or partnerships with a lead applicant. The deadline for submissions is 11:59pm on Monday 10 August 2026.
