Book your place – Community VISION and Partners East Riding Safeguarding Conference

Community VISION, in partnership with Humberside Scouts and other key partners, invites you to this year’s East Riding Safeguarding Conference 2026. This event brings together the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector with a range of different services to raise awareness and foster collaboration on key safeguarding challenges facing our communities.

Throughout the day, attendees will hear from various services and organisations, with workshops covering crucial safeguarding topics, including:

  • Missing People
  • Prevent
  • Safeguarding Children
  • Non-Fatal Strangulation
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Support for Carers

These workshops will be delivered by local VCFSE partners, the key staff from both our East Riding Safeguarding Children Partnership, and the East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board. The conference will also feature a networking market stall area, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with organisations across a variety of sectors.

Emotional Wellbeing Consideration:

At Community VISION we understand that working in the safeguarding sector can be emotionally challenging. To support your wellbeing, we will offer a sound bath experience, led by the local company Wave and Willow. This will take place during the lunch period, and we encourage all attendees to bring a blanket to participate.
