Community Litter Pick Planned for Scunthorpe

Local residents are being invited to roll up their sleeves and help make Scunthorpe shine at a Community Litter Pick taking place on Saturday 6 June 2026 at 2:00pm. The event is being organised in partnership with Scunthorpe Litter Pickers, North Lincolnshire Council, and Humberside Police.

Volunteers will meet at St George’s Church, Frodingham Road, before heading out to help tidy the local area and make a positive difference to the community.

The organisers are encouraging people of all ages to get involved, meet others, and take pride in their neighbourhood. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole afternoon, every helping hand will contribute to creating a cleaner, greener environment for everyone.

As the organisers put it: “It’s your community – let’s make it great together.”
