A fresh opportunity is here for young tech-enthusiasts: Cyber Switch Up 2025 is now open to students aged 11–18 across the Yorkshire & Humber region. The free competition aims to showcase and develop digital and cyber skills through fun puzzles, challenges, and hands-on activities.
How it works:

The online qualifier runs from Monday 29 September to Sunday 26 October 2025, and can be completed either at home or in school.

Top performers will be invited to an in-person finals event on 25 November 2025 at the University of Hull.

Both participants and their schools have the chance to win merchandise, trophies, and exciting tech prizes.
The competition is delivered by the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit in partnership with local organisations, with the goal of raising awareness of digital pathways, promoting ethical cyber behaviours, and inspiring talented young people.

Students must register and have support from a teacher or guardian.

A computer or device with internet access is required for the qualifier.

Finalists must be available on 25 November 2025 to attend the live event in Hull.
