Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) are delivering a free masterclass session on DBS certificate portability and the DBS Update Service for all organisations across Yorkshire & The Humber, giving opportunity to learn more about this service and the benefits of its use.
The session will explore;
- DBS certificate portability
- What the Update Service is (and is not)
- Which DBS certificates can be registered with the service
- Benefits of the service to applicants and recruiters
- Status checking & interpreting the results
- Update Service and Home-Based positions
- Using the Update Service when recruitment decisions are made off site
