Community groups, schools, sports teams and organisations supporting children and young people across East Riding and North Lincolnshire now have more time to apply for funding through the Tesco Fruit & Veg Grants Programme.
The application deadline has been extended to Wednesday 28 October 2026, giving local organisations an additional opportunity to secure funding to support their communities.
The programme aims to help children and young people access healthy food, with grants available for projects that encourage healthier eating and improve access to fruit and vegetables.
Funding Available
Successful projects could receive one of three grant amounts:
- 1st place: £1,500
- 2nd place: £1,000
- 3rd place: £500
The funding provides an opportunity for local organisations to develop activities and initiatives that benefit children and young people.
