Digital Inclusion Roadshows coming to communities across the East Riding

Community VISION is working with East Riding Libraries and East Riding Leisure to bring a series of free Digital Inclusion Roadshows to communities across the East Riding of Yorkshire between September 2026 and February 2027.

Delivered through Community VISION’s Digital Inclusion for All project, the roadshows will give residents the opportunity to drop in and get friendly, practical help with using digital technology.

The sessions are designed for anyone who would like more confidence using a smartphone, tablet, laptop or the internet. People can bring along their own device and ask for help with the things that matter to them, whether that is getting online, using apps and online services, staying safe from fraud, communicating with friends and family or simply getting to grips with their device.

Community VISION has teamed up with East Riding Libraries and East Riding Leisure to host the programme at accessible venues across the area, including Haltemprice, Hornsea, Withernsea, Brough, Goole, Beverley and Bridlington.

The team will also be joined by KCOM for a special roadshow at East Riding Leisure Hornsea on Wednesday 30 September, providing additional support and advice for local residents.

In the new year, Community VISION will once again work with Goole Jobcentre to deliver a roadshow on Wednesday 13 January 2027, helping people access digital support in Goole.

The current programme includes:

• 22 September – Haltemprice Library and Customer Service Centre
• 30 September – East Riding Leisure Hornsea, in partnership with KCOM
• 2 October – Withernsea Centre (Library)
• 21 October – East Riding Leisure Withernsea
• 6 November – East Riding Leisure Hornsea
• 9 December – Brough Library, East Riding Petuaria Centre
• 16 December – Goole Library and Customer Service Centre
• 13 January – Goole Jobcentre
• 29 January – East Riding Leisure Beverley
• 17 February – East Riding Leisure Bridlington
• 19 February – Bridlington North Library

All of the roadshows are free to attend and there is no need to book – residents can simply turn up.

The Digital Inclusion for All project aims to make sure that people across the East Riding have the kit, connectivity, confidence and support they need to benefit from being online. Alongside direct support for residents, Community VISION works with local organisations and community venues to strengthen digital inclusion support within communities.
