ER and Hull Safeguarding Adults Boards are pleased to announce the details of their upcoming conference:
Self neglect – recognising risk, strengthening responses
A conference for frontline professionals and leaders across statutory and VCSFE services, the day will be spent considering and reflecting on the needs of people and our response as services and individuals.
The conference will be opened by key note speaker David Orr – University of Sussex sharing the findings of his latest published article about self neglect and multi agency practice.
The day cover key themes seen in Safeguarding Adults Reviews referred under self neglect sharing both local and national learning and resources to support person centred and trauma informed approaches:
- Alcohol Use
- Hoarding
- Homelessness
- Older people
A multi-agency, multi-disciplinary conference full of information, innovation and inspiration.
