Youth workers supporting young people through faith-based settings are invited to come together for a Faith Based Youth Workers Conference on Tuesday 13 January, hosted at Leeds Beckett University – City Campus.
Taking place from 11.00am to 3.00pm (registration from 10.30am), this event is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of faith-based youth work, connect with peers, and reflect on the vital role it continues to play in supporting young people.
Delivered in partnership with YFNW and YFNE, the conference is aimed at youth workers who are based in faith settings and those delivering faith and or secular youth provision. The day will create space to share learning and experiences around how faith-based youth work supports young people’s personal, political, emotional, physical and spiritual development.
With support from DCMS, the conference will also explore the National Youth Strategy, what it means for young people, and how it shapes the future of youth work practice within faith contexts.
📍 Venue details
The conference will take place in the Calverley Building, 3rd Floor, Room 11.
The day will conclude at 3.00pm, with an additional 30 minutes of informal networking at the end.
This event offers a valuable opportunity for practitioners to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the wider faith youth work community while engaging with national policy and shared challenges.
