The Government says tens of thousands of jobseekers are already using new digital tools designed to help people find work, develop their skills and prepare for applications.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) launched its Work Hub as a pilot in June 2026, providing free employment support that can be accessed from a phone, tablet or computer.
Around 20,000 people have used its Build a CV tool since launch. The service helps people turn their skills, experience and achievements into a CV tailored towards the jobs they are applying for.
A further 16,000 people have used the Work Hub’s AI-powered Work Assistant, which provides personalised support with job searches, applications, interview preparation and career development.
The Work Hub also provides tools to search and apply for jobs, identify training opportunities and prepare for interviews. It is available to everyone, including people who are not currently DWP customers.
The digital service is intended to complement rather than replace existing support through Jobcentres, with Work Coaches continuing to provide face-to-face help.
The Work Hub is being continually developed using feedback and performance data, with safeguards in place around the use of its AI features.
