Have you RSVPed yet? Join us for a Community Get-together

Are you joining us on June 24th?

Have you booked a seat yet?

We’re hosting a Scunthorpe Tomorrow community get-together on June 24, and we’d love to see you there.

Rest assured, this isn’t anything formal, just a relaxed evening for people who care about Scunthorpe and want to connect with others who feel the same.

What’s happening:

Think of it as a friendly, unconference-style evening:

  • A quick welcome and a few updates
  • Two conversation sessions (around 45 minutes each) where you choose the topics that are up for discussion
  • Food will be available, so conversations can flow naturally with minimal interruptions
  • Space for different conversation styles – including quieter corners if that suits you better
  • No pitching. No formal networking. No “representing your business”. Just people showing up as themselves, for Scunthorpe.

When and where:

Date: Wednesday, June 24th

Time: 17:30-19:30pm

Location: Oasis Community Space,  Ave Vivian, Scunthorpe DN15 8LG

Join us: Register your place here.

Why we’re doing it:

Our aim is simple: bring good people together and make it easier for the right connections to happen. The kind that leads to the creation of small groups, shared projects, and “oven-ready ideas”.

If you’re someone who wants to get more involved, this is also a great stepping stone towards volunteering and helping shape what happens next.

How you can get involved:

  • Come along, bring your curiosity (and a friend if you like)
  • Invite someonewho runs a local group, community page, or network
  • Share what you care about— and what you’d love to see more of in Scunthorpe

If you’re already active in something positive for the town, come and tell people about it (in a human way — not a salesy way)

We’d love to have you there. After all, why not Scunthorpe?

Rob, Ty, Alex, Jono, Karra, Karen and Sian
