Join the Hate Crime Scrutiny Panel at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner

Are you passionate about fairness, community safety, and ensuring that vulnerable groups across our region are protected and heard?

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Humberside is actively seeking dedicated independent volunteers to join our Hate Crime Scrutiny Panel.

In this role, panel members objectively examine real world police decision making, evaluate how hate crimes are handled, and identify emerging trends and common themes that impact our diverse communities.

By bringing your unique perspectives and lived experiences to the table, you will help robustly challenge and promote good policing practice, foster genuine transparency, and directly inform our Independent Ethics and Scrutiny Board.

Ultimately, the goal is to ensure absolute accountability, drive positive organisational learning within Humberside Police, and build enduring public confidence so that every resident across the Humberside region feels safe, supported, and truly represented.
