Volunteer-led groups across the East Riding are invited to attend a free webinar about the King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS), the UK’s highest recognition for volunteer-led groups making a difference in their local communities.
With entries for the 2027 awards now open, the webinar will take place in the presence of His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire on Wednesday 9 September 2026, from 4pm to 5pm.
Attendees will hear from three local award winners, who will share their experiences and discuss the value and impact the award can bring to voluntary groups. The session will also provide an opportunity to find out more about the award and what it could mean for local organisations.
