The LGBT+ Fund: Get Active Fund is now open for applications, offering funding to LGBT+ led organisations and groups delivering sport and physical activity across the UK.
Supported by the London Marathon Foundation, a total of £400,000 is available through the programme. The fund particularly aims to support grassroots organisations working with LGBT+ communities who face additional barriers to taking part in physical activity.
Organisations can apply for:
- £5,000–£25,000 for projects lasting one year.
- £10,000–£50,000 for projects lasting two years.
Applicants must be UK-based, LGBT+ led non-profit groups or organisations and have been running for at least six months. Their work must include existing or recent sport or physical activity provision. Activities can cover a wide range of opportunities, including walking and hiking, football, gardening, dance, skateboarding and other activities which increase physical movement and wellbeing.
