Neighbourhood Network’s Menopaus’ull Support Network is preparing to mark this October’s World Menopause Month with a vibrant programme of events and activities designed to raise awareness, spark conversations and provide vital support for women across the region.
Throughout October, the Menopaus’ull Team will be active in workplaces, healthcare settings, and community spaces, highlighting the support available and making it clear that no one has to face menopause alone.
A standout feature of this year’s programme of events is the travelling “Hot Seat” – a vibrant pink sofa touring communities across the county. Styled as a cosy living room, the ‘Hot Seat’ provides a welcoming space for open and supportive conversations about menopause, helping to bring this important topic into the heart of local neighbourhoods.
The month-long campaign will bring people together through a range of inspiring activities, including Menopause Cafés, Walk & Talk sessions, and thought-provoking talks and presentations in both medical and business settings. The team will also take part in the national Pause Live event in London. Closer to home, Menopaus’ull will host its fourth annual ‘Menopause Hull’ event in partnership with Emma Hardy MP on the ground floor of Princes Quay Shopping Centre, offering a packed programme of expert speakers, interactive demonstrations, and exhibition stalls, all designed to support, inform and empower everyone on their menopause journey.
