Introducing the ‘Plan for Neighbourhoods’, a government-funded programme dedicating £20million to strengthening Scunthorpe’s neighbourhoods over the next decade. The programme is delivered by North Lincolnshire Council and supported by a dedicated Neighbourhood Board, with Scunthorpe Tomorrow driving community engagement.
This isn’t about decisions being made at the top that filter down to have little impact on our communities. Instead, the aim of this project is to amplify the voices that keep our community human, alive and evolving – ensuring that local people directly shape how this funding is used.
How can I get involved?
We’re hosting a series of NeighbourhoodLAB events across our communities, as well as a dedicated YouthLAB and the return of PlaceLAB, throughout September and October. These represent your opportunity to make your voice heard.
