New safeguarding guide for children and young people

A new guide has been released to help children and young people better understand safeguarding and how different organisations should collaborate to ensure their safety.
Titled “Children and Young People’s Guide to Working Together to Safeguard Children”, the guide is designed to be clear, accessible, and easy to follow. It covers:

  • What safeguarding is

  • The roles and responsibilities of adults and organisations

  • What children and young people can expect when they need help

This guide is especially useful for organisations that work directly with children and young people, or for those aiming to communicate safeguarding information in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.
