Registration opens for DBS Annual Conference 2026

Registration is now open for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Annual Conference 2026, a free virtual event taking place on 6 and 7 October 2026.

The two-day conference brings together people working across safeguarding to share knowledge and good practice. It is open to anyone working in or interested in safeguarding, including those from voluntary and community organisations, statutory services and partner agencies.

Sessions across the two days will cover a range of topics including safer recruitment, legislative changes, barring decisions, safeguarding adults, information sharing, digital transformation and partnership working. The programme includes keynote speeches, workshops, panel discussions and live Q&A sessions.

Speakers include DBS Chairman Dr Gillian Fairfield and DBS Chief Executive Dr Jeff James CBE, alongside representatives from organisations including the Information Commissioner’s Office and the Ann Craft Trust.
