Book Now!! – New Strategic Plan launch event

We will be holding a launch event on the 25 February 2025, 1pm – 5pm at The Baths Hall Scunthorpe.

This launch event is suitable for all staff and volunteers working with adults in North Lincolnshire and will be an opportunity for wider partners to hear about our priorities for the next three years. You will also meet the new Independent Chair, Shona McFarlane who will present the opening address.

An agenda will follow once confirmed, to reserve your place at the event, please visit our Tickettailor account.

We are recruiting! – Independent Scrutiny Officers

You still have time to apply – The North Lincolnshire SAB are recruiting for a number of Independent Scrutiny Officers to provide objectivity, act as a constructive critical friend and promote reflection to support the delivery of our Scrutiny and Assurance Framework.

The role of independent scrutiny is critical to provide assurance in judging the effectiveness of the Safeguarding Adults Board to safeguard adults with care and support needs in North Lincolnshire.

The job profile and specification is available here – ISO Job Profile

The closing date for applications is Friday 9 January.

We would appreciate it if you could circulate the vacancy across your networks.

Important update – New link for the Safeguarding referral e-form

As previously advised following a routine upgrade to the Council’s IT services, a new link has been introduced for the safeguarding referral e-form for professionals.

The Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) website has been updated accordingly. If you access the form via our website, you will be directed to the new version.

Please note that the old form will be taken offline shortly. To avoid any disruption, please ensure you update any shortcuts, bookmarks or saved links so they point to the new e-form.

The new form can be accessed on the SAB website here
