Community VISION is commissioned to deliver safeguarding training and support to Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations that provide services to residents across the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Our safeguarding training provides an introduction to creating, promoting, and maintaining safer cultures within voluntary and community organisations.
Training topics include:
- Understanding safeguarding and how to protect children, young people, and adults from abuse and harm.
- Identifying and recognising the signs and indicators of abuse, neglect, and harm.
- Exploring current safeguarding issues affecting communities across the East Riding.
- Understanding safer recruitment principles and practices.
- Developing and implementing effective safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Knowing where to access appropriate safeguarding support, advice, and guidance.
- Understanding what action to take if you suspect someone is experiencing abuse or harm.
- Managing safeguarding concerns, disclosures, and allegations within your organisation.
Our training is designed to increase confidence, raise awareness, and equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to promote safe and inclusive environments for everyone.
