The Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking volunteers

The Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner is looking for individuals to join their volunteer scheme!

They have a number of roles avilable including:

Independent Custody Visitor:
Local volunteers make unannounced visits across the two custody suites to check on the welfare of those being held there.

Hate Crime Scrutiny Panel Member:
Panel members scrutinise common themes, trends, and decision making processes, and how this impacts on diverse & vulnerable communities.

Independent Custody Scrutiny Panel Member:
Members look at police powers used in custody settings, as well as wider issues that can’t be addressed through the custody visiting scheme.
