Youth Connect offers positive activities for young people in the Humber area

With over 250 activities, Youth Connect is a website for 11 to 18-year-olds seeking to explore new hobbies, develop new skills and meet new friends.

From sports clubs to art classes to volunteering projects, the activities aim to get young people active and inspired over the summer holidays and beyond. You can filter by location and activity type to find local groups that match young people’s interests.

The comprehensive directory covers the East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. Youth Connect also lists relevant support services so young people have access to any help they may need.

Youth Connect was developed by the Humber Violence Prevention Partnership (VPP). Launched in 2022, the Humber VPP is a Violence Reduction Unit that leads and co-ordinates the local response to preventing and reducing serious violence through a public health approach.

It includes the Police and Crime Commissioner, Humberside Police, local councils, the NHS and a range of other partner organisations. The Humber VPP works towards a safer Humber region where young people choose positivity over violence.
